The Unanswered Question

Today I was asked a question
I responded with another question

I usually go with my gut
But, then I thought about it
Really, wish I had a better answer

So, I asked someone else,
They didn't have a clue
I asked again and again

All day, I've been looking for a better answer.
Looking high, looking low.
Between every nook and cranny

When I got home, I looked in the mirror
And I asked myself the question
With a sparkle in her eye,
my reflection smiled at me

I hate it when she's right.
